Cavitation Guide
Use Cla-Val’s Cavitation Guide as a quick overview of determining cavitation in modulating service valves. For on/off valves, please consult the factory. More specific cavitation conditions can be determined from the Cla-CAV analysis program including static and dynamic inlet and outlet pressures, flow range, elevation, water temperature, and service conditions. Please contact our factory at 800.942-6326 to request assistance. The best defense against cavitation is to specify your Cla-Val’s KO Anti-Cavitation Trim in your new valve or order a KO retrofit kit for valves already installed in your distribution system.
