Accurate Flow Measurement: Cla-Val Model X144 e-FlowMeter™
The Cla-Val Model X144 e-Flow Meter is a vortex shedding flow meter designed to be installed in the inlet tapping of a Cla-Val Automatic Control Valve to provide accurate flow data without the need for a separate inline meter. The IP 68 Submersible e-Flow Meter provides accuracy to within 2% of Full Scale and can be easily retrofitted to a Cla-Val Control Valve without removing the valve from the pipeline. Because the flow meter is integral to the valve, installation costs are minimal and start-up can be facilitated in a matter of minutes.
A typical installation would be in an underground vault or anywhere tracking flow data is desired. The X144 e-FlowMeter™ communicates via a 4-20mA signal and can be easily interfaced with a remote display or SCADA system.
